The 26th Cotton Classic returns October 15th to the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway. The King of the West 410 WING Sprint Cars will the headliners with their points finale.  Tim Kaeding looks to continue his Kings dominance while wrapping up the fist California Championship for Dennis and Teresa Roth.  And a very special guest will be racing with us in a second Roth Motorsports entry, “The Wild Child” Jac Haudenschild will be racing at Kings Speedway for the Cotton Classic!!! The Jim Turner Memorial is Saturday September 10th and we have a great night of racing.  ANOTHER SPRINT CAR DOUBLEHEADER!!! ASCS WIng Sprint Cars and USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will co-headline the nights racing with Hobby Stocks and Mini Stock providing fun support divisions.  The night is also a St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Fundraiser. ALL ACTIVE MILITARY ARE FREE on September 10th. Tommy Tarlton and Mike Faria continue the rivalry.  With Faria looking for his first win since returning from a 3 year break.

With a lot of calls and interest in teh upcoming Cotton Classic on October 15th, tickets will go on sale Tuesday September 5th. $25 Reserved Grandstand, $22 General This will be the biggest show of 2011!  Featuring KWS Wing 410 Sprints and USAC Sprints.  And Vintage Super Modifieds.  Final wing 410 race of the season and the points final for KWS.

With two fantastic sprint car divisions on tap August 20th at the famed 3/8 mile fans were in for a treat.  The ASCS Wing Sprints and USAC West Coast Sprints made a stop and didn’t disappoint. Craig Stidham and Tommy Tarlton topped the two heat races in the ASCS Sprints while Birthday Boy TJ Smith won heat #1 on his 21st Birthday with Rusty Carlisle and Hanford’s own Justyne Hamblin each winning heats in the USAC Sprints. Tommy Tarlton dominated the main event but Tipton’s Mike Faria battled through lap traffic to make it closer in the closing laps with Tarlton taking the win.
